Critters 2: The Main Course

A 1988 American science fiction comedy horror film, serving as the second installment in the "Critters" franchise. Directed by Mick Garris and written by David Twohy and Mick Garris, the film stars Scott Grimes as Brad Brown, Liane Curtis as Megan Morgan, Don Opper as Charlie McFadden, Barry Corbin as Sheriff Harv, and Terrence Mann as Ug. The plot takes place two years after the events of the first film. Brad Brown returns to the town of Grover's Bend, Kansas, to visit his grandmother. Meanwhile, local residents discover eggs left behind by the Critters, mistaking them for Easter decorations. When the eggs hatch, the town faces another invasion of the ravenous alien creatures. Brad must team up with local journalist Megan Morgan, former town drunk turned bounty hunter Charlie McFadden, and other residents to combat the new wave of Critters. Bounty hunters Ug and Lee also return to Earth to finish what they started and eliminate the remaining creatures. The film blends elements of horror and comedy, depicting the small town's struggle against the alien menace, while exploring themes of friendship, bravery, and redemption.
