A 1991 American science fiction comedy horror film, serving as the third installment in the "Critters" franchise. Directed by Kristine Peterson and written by David J. Schow, the film stars Aimee Brooks as Annie, John Calvin as Clifford, Katherine Cortez as Marcia, Don Keith Opper as Charlie McFadden, and Leonardo DiCaprio as Josh. The plot begins with a family—father Clifford, daughter Annie, and son Johnny—who, during a trip, encounter Charlie McFadden, a bounty hunter tracking the Critters, who warns them about the danger of these creatures. Unknowingly, the family takes Critter eggs with them, which have attached to their car. Upon returning to their Los Angeles apartment building, they are unaware that the eggs will soon hatch into ravenous alien creatures. The Critters begin terrorizing the building's residents, including Annie and Johnny's stepmother Marcia, as well as Josh, the son of a corrupt landlord. The residents band together to confront the threat, but the Critters rapidly multiply and become increasingly aggressive. Charlie arrives to assist, and together with the surviving tenants, engages in a final battle against the monsters. The film is notable for marking Leonardo DiCaprio's film debut.
