A 2004 German war drama directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel. The film portrays the final days of Adolf Hitler and his close associates in an underground bunker in Berlin during the end of World War II. It is based on the memoirs of Hitler’s secretary, Traudl Junge, and other eyewitnesses. The main roles are played by Bruno Ganz (as Adolf Hitler) and Alexandra Maria Lara (as Traudl Junge). The movie depicts the collapse of the Third Reich and the despair within Hitler’s circle as defeat becomes imminent.
