Event Horizon​

The 1997 science fiction horror film, directed by Paul Anderson, is set in 2047 and follows the crew of the rescue vessel "Lewis and Clark" on a mission to recover the lost spaceship "Event Horizon," which has unexpectedly reappeared in Neptune's orbit after a seven-year absence. The team is led by Captain Miller (Laurence Fishburne), with Dr. William Weir (Sam Neill), the creator of the "Event Horizon," among the crew members. The ship was equipped with an experimental gravity drive capable of creating an artificial black hole for instantaneous space travel. However, during its maiden voyage, the "Event Horizon" vanished and has now returned bearing signs of catastrophe. The crew of the "Lewis and Clark" discovers that the ship hasn't come back alone: a sinister force has accompanied it, influencing the crew's minds and manifesting their deepest fears and guilt.
