Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

A 2011 American drama directed by Stephen Daldry and written by Eric Roth, based on the novel by Jonathan Safran Foer. The story follows 11-year-old Oskar Schell (Thomas Horn), an exceptionally intelligent and sensitive boy coping with the loss of his father (Tom Hanks), who died in the September 11 attacks in New York City. Upon discovering a mysterious key in an envelope labeled "Black" in his father's closet, Oskar believes it's a final puzzle left by his father and embarks on a journey across the city to find the lock it opens.
