G.I. Joe: Retaliation

A 2013 American military science fiction action film directed by Jon M. Chu. The film serves as the second installment in the G.I. Joe film series and is a sequel to "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" (2009). Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis appear alongside Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki, Lee Byung-hun, Jonathan Pryce, Ray Park, and Ray Stevenson. The plot follows the G.I. Joe team, who are betrayed and eliminated under the orders of the President of the United States, who is actually Zartan (Arnold Vosloo) in disguise, the leader of the Cobra organization. The few survivors, including Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), Flint (D.J. Cotrona), and Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki), band together to expose the conspiracy and restore their unit's honor. They seek assistance from General Joseph Colton (Bruce Willis), the founder of G.I. Joe, to confront the new threat. Meanwhile, Storm Shadow (Lee Byung-hun) frees Cobra Commander (Luke Bracey) from prison, and together with Firefly (Ray Stevenson), they plan to achieve world domination using the "Zeus" satellite weapon. In the film's climax, the G.I. Joe team prevents the weapon's launch, defeats the Cobra forces, and restores peace, although Cobra Commander escapes once again.
