Horizon Forbidden West

An action/RPG open-world video game developed by Dutch studio Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2022 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, later ported to Windows in 2024 with the assistance of Nixxes Software. The story continues from Horizon Zero Dawn: Aloy ventures into the Forbidden West to find a backup of the AI Gaia and halt environmental catastrophes threatening Earth's biosphere. During her journey, she encounters new tribes such as the Tenakth and Quen, as well as futuristic enhanced humans from the "Far Zenith" organization, including a clone of Elizabet Sobeck named Beta. Gameplay involves exploring diverse biomes, battling machines and humans, utilizing various weapons including bows, spears, traps, and specialized ammunition. Aloy also employs the "Focus" device to analyze the environment and enemies. The game received high praise for its detailed world, storyline, graphics, and creature design, and was recognized with numerous awards and nominations.
