Horizon Zero Dawn

An action/RPG video game developed by Dutch studio Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2017 for PlayStation 4, later ported to Windows in 2020. Set in a distant future on the territory of former USA, where remnants of humanity live in tribes and the Earth is inhabited by animal-like machines. The main character, Aloy, an outcast raised by hunter Rost, embarks on a journey to uncover the mysteries of her origin and the cause of the catastrophe that led to the fall of civilization. Players explore an open world, battle machines and humans using a bow, spear, various traps, and a device called "Focus" that analyzes the environment. Throughout the story, Aloy learns about the "Zero Dawn" project, designed to restore life on the planet after a technological disaster, and faces the threat of the AI HADES, aiming to destroy all life. The game received high praise for its detailed world, storyline, graphics, and creature design, and was recognized with numerous awards and nominations.
