Ice Age

A 2002 American computer-animated adventure film produced by Blue Sky Studios and released by 20th Century Fox. The story is set during the Pleistocene ice age and follows a group of prehistoric animals united by a common goal. Manfred, or Manny (voiced by Ray Romano), a gruff and solitary woolly mammoth, unexpectedly encounters a talkative and energetic sloth named Sid (voiced by John Leguizamo). Together, they discover a human infant who has been separated from his tribe following an attack by saber-toothed tigers. Determined to return the child to his people, Manny and Sid are joined by Diego (voiced by Denis Leary), a saber-toothed tiger initially intending to lead them into a trap set by his pack. However, as their journey progresses, Diego develops a bond with his newfound companions and reconsiders his intentions. Parallel to this, the film features a comedic subplot involving a saber-toothed squirrel named Scrat, who desperately tries to bury his acorn, inadvertently causing a series of catastrophic events. The film explores themes of friendship, trust, and family values, showcasing how a diverse group of characters comes together for a common purpose.
