Knowing

The 2009 American science fiction thriller directed by Alex Proyas follows MIT professor John Koestler (Nicolas Cage), who discovers that a time capsule buried in 1959 contains a sheet of seemingly random numbers. John realizes that these numbers predict the dates, death tolls, and coordinates of major disasters over the past 50 years. As he attempts to prevent upcoming calamities, he encounters mysterious figures known as "whisperers" who are watching over his son, Caleb (Chandler Canterbury). As events unfold, John realizes that the final predicted disaster could lead to the end of humanity and strives to protect his loved ones from the impending threat.
