A 2007 American science fiction action film directed by Lee Tamahori, based on Philip K. Dick's short story "The Golden Man." The film follows Cris Johnson (Nicolas Cage), a Las Vegas magician with the ability to see two minutes into the future. Seeking to avoid government scrutiny, he lives under an alias and performs in small-time shows. FBI agent Callie Ferris (Julianne Moore) learns of his gift and attempts to recruit Cris to help prevent a terrorist threat—a nuclear explosion in Los Angeles.
