An American nu metal band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 1994 by vocalist Fred Durst, bassist Sam Rivers, and drummer John Otto. Guitarist Wes Borland and DJ Lethal later joined, completing the classic lineup. Limp Bizkit quickly gained popularity in the underground scene with their aggressive sound blending rap and metal elements, provocative lyrics, and dynamic stage performances. Their debut album, "Three Dollar Bill, Y'all," was released in 1997, but mainstream success came with "Significant Other" in 1999, featuring hits like "Nookie" and "Break Stuff." In 2000, "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, solidifying their status. Despite lineup changes and hiatuses, the band continued to release albums, including "Results May Vary" (2003), "Gold Cobra" (2011), and "Still Sucks" (2021). Throughout their career, Limp Bizkit has sold over 40 million records worldwide and received three Grammy nominations. Their music is characterized by heavy guitar riffs, rap vocals, and DJ effects, while their live performances are known for high energy and visual flair.
