A Czech rap-metal artist, producer, and songwriter, born Zdeněk Veselý on April 17, 1998, in the village of Starovice, Břeclav District, Czech Republic. He began his musical journey at the age of 14, playing guitar and participating in school bands that covered grunge and alternative rock songs, eventually creating his own compositions incorporating nu-metal elements. Since 2016, he has pursued a solo career, recording guitar parts and producing beats himself, blending rap with heavy metal, trap, and boom bap. Redzed is known for his dark, horror-themed lyrics and exclusively uses English in his songs, which has helped him gain an international audience. In 2019, he released the album "Bohemian Psycho," featuring tracks like "Straight Outta Flames" and "Rave in the Grave," the latter becoming his most popular hit with over 50 million streams. In 2022, he became the most streamed Czech artist globally, and in 2023, he received a diamond record for one billion streams. That same year, he released the album "Tales of a Necromancer" and performed at major festivals, including Rock For People and HoodFest. Redzed actively tours across Europe, including countries like the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, and Austria, often performing with a live band. His work continues to evolve, merging various genres and attracting an ever-growing fan base worldwide.
