Morgenshtern

Russian rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer, born on February 17, 1998, in Ufa, Bashkortostan, Russia. He began his career in 2010 by posting parodies of popular artists on YouTube, gaining initial fame. In 2018, he transitioned to creating original music, releasing the mini-album "Hate Me," followed by the 2019 album "Smile, Fool!" which solidified his position in the Russian music scene. In 2020, he released "Legendary Dust," which broke records on the VKontakte platform with 1 million plays in the first half-hour and 5 million in 11 hours. In 2021, he released the albums "Million Dollar: Happiness" and "Million Dollar: Business," as well as the single "El Problema" featuring Lil Pump. Known for his provocative image, controversial lyrics, and active media presence, he is also the co-founder of the restaurants "Kaif Provenance" and "Kaif Burger," and the founder of the Telegram channel "Not Morgenshtern." In 2021, he was named "Musician of the Year" by GQ and included in Forbes' "30 Under 30" list. In 2022, he left Russia following accusations of drug propaganda and being labeled a foreign agent. Morgenshtern remains one of the most talked-about figures in contemporary Russian music.
