Masters of the Air​

An American war drama television series released in 2024 in the United States, created by Cary Joji Fukunaga, serving as the third installment in the trilogy that includes "Band of Brothers" and "The Pacific." The storyline is based on Donald L. Miller's book and follows the 100th Bomb Group of the U.S. Eighth Air Force, also known as the "Bloody Hundredth," conducting perilous bombing missions over Nazi Germany during World War II. The main characters are Major Gale Cleven (Austin Butler), Major John Egan (Callum Turner), and Major Harry Crosby (Anthony Boyle), who face extreme conditions, including frostbite, enemy fighter attacks, and high crew mortality rates. The series delves into the psychological and physical strain experienced by young pilots, their camaraderie, losses, and heroism. Filming took place in England using large-scale sets and modern technologies, including LED screens to create realistic flight scenes. The series consists of one season with nine episodes and concluded in 2024.​
