Namakopuri

A Japanese music artist formed in 2012, consisting of two members: Mako Principal and Namacolove. The duo identified themselves as an "art idol" group, blending elements of pop music, electronic dance music, and performance art. Their performances were characterized by eccentric and provocative styles, often featuring nurse costumes that highlighted their unique aesthetic. Namakopuri gained international recognition through their involvement in the video game Cyberpunk 2077, where they portrayed the fictional pop group Us Cracks, performing tracks such as "PonPon Shit," "User Friendly," and "Off the Leash." These songs became part of the game's official soundtrack and were well-received by both players and critics. Despite their success, the group disbanded on June 18, 2021, without disclosing the reasons for their dissolution. Namakopuri left a significant impact on the cultural landscape by combining music, visual art, and performance, continuing to inspire fans with their distinctive creative approach.
