Never Say Never Again

A 1983 British-American spy film directed by Irvin Kershner. The film is an unofficial remake of Thunderball and is not part of the main James Bond series, as it was produced by the independent studio Taliafilm rather than Eon Productions. Sean Connery returned to the role of James Bond after a 12-year hiatus. The plot follows Bond, who, after failing a training mission, is sent to a health clinic where he uncovers a plot by the organization SPECTRE, which has stolen two nuclear warheads to extort the world's governments. Bond must stop the villain Maximilian Largo and avert disaster. The film received positive reviews and grossed approximately $160 million worldwide.
