Spider-Man: Brand New Day

A superhero film by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers; Michael Giacchino composed the score. Tom Holland plays Peter Parker, with Zendaya, Jacob Batalon and Sadie Sink in the cast. This is the fourth Spider-Man picture with Holland in the lead and a further part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; the release is set for 2026. The three earlier films of the series followed a schoolboy from Queens in New York who received the strength of a spider and learned to hold it together with the ordinary life of a teenager and then a student. The end of the previous part left the hero in a position he had never been in before: a spell erased the memory of Peter Parker from everyone who knew him, his closest friends and the girl he loved among them. The abilities stayed with him, the connections went. The new picture continues from that point. The hero begins his life again, with no name known to anyone, no home to return to, and no way of explaining to those around him who he is.
