Starship Troopers 3: Marauder

A 2008 American science fiction film directed by Edward Neumeier, it is the third installment in the "Starship Troopers" series. The plot unfolds eleven years into the "Second Bug War," where the Mobile Infantry has enhanced its weaponry and tactics, while the Arachnids have developed new species. Colonel Johnny Rico (Casper Van Dien) is stationed on the agrarian planet Roku San, where he is visited by the popular Sky Marshal Omar Anoke (Stephen Hogan). During the visit, the base is attacked by bugs, and Rico is blamed for the defense failure, sentenced to execution for insubordination. Meanwhile, Captain Lola Beck (Jolene Blalock) pilots a ship with Anoke on board, but they crash on the hostile planet OM-1. Stranded amidst Arachnid forces, the crew faces new threats and Anoke's religious revelations. Rico is released to lead the "Marauder" rescue mission, utilizing new combat suits to fight the bugs and save the survivors.
