The Ant Bully​

A 2006 American animated adventure fantasy comedy film directed by John A. Davis, based on the children's book of the same name by John Nickle. The story follows ten-year-old Lucas Nickle (voiced by Zach Tyler Eisen), who, after being bullied by neighborhood kids, takes out his frustration by flooding an ant colony in his yard. In retaliation, the ants use magic to shrink Lucas to their size and sentence him to live among them to understand the consequences of his actions. Within the colony, he meets Hova (Julia Roberts), a kind-hearted ant who becomes his mentor, and Zoc (Nicolas Cage), a skeptical wizard ant. As Lucas navigates life in the ant world, he learns valuable lessons about friendship, cooperation, and empathy, facing challenges including the threat from exterminator Stan Beals (Paul Giamatti). The film explores themes of personal growth, understanding, and the importance of seeing the world from others' perspectives.​
