Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

The 2011 British spy thriller directed by Tomas Alfredson, with a screenplay by Bridget O'Connor and Peter Straughan, is based on John le Carré's 1974 novel of the same name. Through meticulous investigation, Smiley uncovers that Haydon is the mole, having been recruited by Soviet spymaster Karla. The film culminates in Haydon's arrest and Smiley's reinstatement as head of the Circus.
