U Turn

The 1997 American neo-noir crime thriller directed by Oliver Stone, based on John Ridley's novel "Stray Dogs", follows the misadventures of Bobby Cooper (Sean Penn), a down-on-his-luck gambler en route to Las Vegas to repay a debt to the Russian mafia. His journey is derailed when his car breaks down in the desolate town of Superior, Arizona. Seeking repairs from the eccentric mechanic Darrell (Billy Bob Thornton), Bobby becomes entangled in a deadly triangle involving the seductive Grace McKenna (Jennifer Lopez) and her domineering husband Jake (Nick Nolte), each proposing that he murder the other.
