Russian rock band formed in 1997 in the village of Talovaya, Voronezh Oblast, by Ivan Demyan. Initially named "Religion," the group performed at local rock festivals. The official founding date is considered March 8, 2001, when work began on their debut album "Molodye Vetra" ("Young Winds"). The band quickly gained popularity with melodic compositions featuring deep lyrics addressing social and personal themes. In 2004, the song "VIVA!" became the anthem of the Russian national football team at the European Championship, and in 2005, it was the official anthem of the World Olympic Games of unofficial extreme sports in Duisburg. The group actively participated in major rock festivals such as "Nashestvie," "Maxidrom," and "KINO Snachala." In 2011, they recorded a cover version of "Wind of Change" in collaboration with the German band Scorpions. In 2016, the band celebrated its 15th anniversary with the tour "7B — 15 Windy Years," releasing a documentary film and an autobiographical book. In 2022, the group took part in the musical-patriotic marathon "Za Rossiyu" in support of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, after which the band's leader, Ivan Demyan, was banned from entering Latvia. The band continues active concert activities and remains a significant participant in the Russian rock scene.
