An Australian rock band formed in 1973 in Sydney by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young, AC/DC became one of the most influential and commercially successful acts in rock history. Their style blends elements of hard rock, blues rock, and heavy metal, though the band prefers to describe their music simply as rock and roll. Their debut album, "High Voltage," released in 1975, marked the beginning of their international career. After the death of vocalist Bon Scott in 1980, he was replaced by Brian Johnson, with whom the band recorded "Back in Black," one of the best-selling albums in music history. AC/DC has released 18 studio albums, including "Highway to Hell," "The Razors Edge," and "Power Up." The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 and has received numerous awards, including Grammy Awards. Their songs, such as "Thunderstruck," "You Shook Me All Night Long," and "T.N.T.," have become rock classics. Despite lineup changes and the death of Malcolm Young in 2017, AC/DC continues to perform and record music, maintaining their unique style and energy.
