Around the World in 80 Days​

A 2004 American action-adventure comedy directed by Frank Coraci, this film is a loose adaptation of Jules Verne's novel, focusing on eccentric British inventor Phileas Fogg (Steve Coogan), who bets members of the Royal Academy of Science that he can circumnavigate the globe in 80 days. Accompanied by his new valet Passepartout (Jackie Chan), actually Chinese thief Lau Xing hiding from the police after robbing the Bank of England, they embark on an adventurous journey filled with dangers, unexpected encounters, and exotic experiences. Along the way, they are joined by French artist Monique La Roche (Cécile de France), and the trio faces various challenges, including being pursued by Inspector Fix (Ewen Bremner), who suspects Fogg of criminal activity. Their route takes them through Paris, Istanbul, India, China, the United States, and other countries, where they encounter diverse cultures and overcome numerous obstacles. The film is rich in humor, action, and visual effects, featuring cameo appearances by notable actors such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Owen Wilson.​
