A fantasy road comedy about the search for meaning in life. Neal Oliver (James Marsden), a young man at a crossroads, receives a mysterious offer from the enigmatic Mr. O.W. Grant (Gary Oldman), a trickster with the power to grant wishes. As a result, Neal embarks on a journey down the nonexistent Interstate 60, encountering bizarre towns, peculiar residents, and philosophical dilemmas. Along the way, he meets the girl of his dreams (Amy Smart) and crosses paths with eccentric characters, including an unorthodox lawyer (Christopher Lloyd) and a ruthless businessman (Michael J. Fox). Each stop on his journey presents a challenge that reshapes his perspective on life. The film blends elements of fantasy, satire, and philosophical allegory.
