Collateral Beauty

David Frankel directed this American fantasy drama from 2016, working from a script by Allan Loeb. Gradually, he begins to understand that even in the darkest moments, there can be "collateral beauty"—unexpected moments of meaning and beauty. Despite its star-studded cast and profound themes, the film received predominantly negative reviews from critics but grossed approximately $88.5 million worldwide against a budget ranging from $36 to $40.3 million.
