Mean Girls

A 2004 American teen comedy directed by Mark Waters and written by Tina Fey, based on Rosalind Wiseman's book "Queen Bees and Wannabes". The film follows 16-year-old Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan), who, after living in Africa with her zoologist parents, enters a regular American high school for the first time. There, she faces the school's social hierarchy and meets a group of popular girls known as "The Plastics," led by the charismatic yet manipulative Regina George (Rachel McAdams). Initially, Cady plans to expose "The Plastics" with the help of her new friends Janis (Lizzy Caplan) and Damian (Daniel Franzese), but she gradually becomes part of their world, losing her own identity. The film explores themes of friendship, betrayal, and the search for one's true self within the complex realm of teenage relationships.
