An American adventure television series from 1959, created by Blake Edwards, centers on an honest professional gambler known as Mr. Lucky (John Vivyan), who operates a luxurious floating casino named "Fortuna," anchored just beyond the three-mile limit off the U.S. coast to legally conduct gambling. His partner and best friend, Andamo (Ross Martin), assists in managing the casino. The series follows their various adventures as they encounter swindlers, criminals, and law enforcement. Mid-season, under pressure from sponsor Lever Brothers, the show's format shifted: the casino was converted into a restaurant, altering the series' dynamics. Despite high ratings, the series was canceled after one season due to the lack of new sponsors.
