A 2010 American action-comedy film directed by Robert Schwentke, based on the DC Comics limited series of the same name. The story follows former CIA agent Frank Moses (Bruce Willis), who leads a quiet, retired life while maintaining a phone relationship with pension office worker Sarah Ross (Mary-Louise Parker). Frank's tranquility is shattered when a team of assassins attempts to kill him. Realizing his life is in danger, he takes Sarah to protect her and reunites with his old team: Joe Matheson (Morgan Freeman), residing in a retirement home and battling liver cancer; Marvin Boggs (John Malkovich), a paranoid recluse subjected to government LSD experiments; and Victoria (Helen Mirren), a former contract killer. Together, they strive to uncover who is behind the assassination attempt and confront agent William Cooper (Karl Urban), assigned to eliminate Frank. Their investigation exposes a conspiracy involving high-ranking politicians and covert operations. The film blends intense action sequences, humor, and spy thriller elements, exploring themes of aging, friendship, and betrayal.
