A 2016 American science fiction action horror film directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, it is the sixth and final installment in the "Resident Evil" film series, based on the video game series of the same name. The plot continues the story of Alice (Milla Jovovich), who, after being betrayed by Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts), finds herself in a devastated Washington, D.C. The Red Queen (voiced by Ever Anderson), the artificial intelligence of the Umbrella Corporation, contacts Alice and informs her that humanity will be destroyed in 48 hours. She reveals that an antivirus capable of stopping the T-virus pandemic is located in the Hive, an underground Umbrella facility beneath Raccoon City. Alice sets out for Raccoon City, encountering mutants and survivors along the way. In Raccoon City, she reunites with Claire Redfield (Ali Larter) and a group of survivors, including Doc (Eoin Macken), Abigail (Ruby Rose), and Christian (William Levy). Together, they infiltrate the Hive, overcoming traps and resistance from Isaacs (Iain Glen), who aims to destroy humanity to create a new world under Umbrella's control. Alice discovers that she is a clone of Alicia Marcus, the daughter of Umbrella co-founder James Marcus. Alicia (also played by Milla Jovovich) assists Alice by transferring control of Umbrella to her. In the final showdown, Alice releases the antivirus, destroying the T-virus and saving humanity. She survives, contrary to expectations, and decides to continue fighting remaining threats, traveling the world on her motorcycle.
