Stray Kids

A South Korean male music group formed in 2017 by JYP Entertainment through the reality show of the same name. The group comprises eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. Originally, the group included a ninth member, Woojin, who departed in October 2019 for personal reasons. Stray Kids are known for their unique approach to music creation, actively participating in songwriting, production, and choreography. Their production team, 3Racha, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, plays a pivotal role in shaping the group's sound. They officially debuted on March 25, 2018, with the mini-album "I Am Not," followed by "I Am Who" and "I Am You," completing the "I Am" trilogy. In 2019, they released the "Clé" series, including "Clé 1: Miroh," "Clé 2: Yellow Wood," and "Clé: Levanter." Their first studio album, "Go Live" (2020), became the group's first album to be certified platinum by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA). In 2020, Stray Kids made their Japanese debut with the compilation album "SKZ2020," and their debut Japanese single "Top" topped the Oricon Singles Chart, making them the fourth foreign male artists to achieve this with a debut single. The group is known for their energetic style, blending elements of K-pop, hip hop, and electronic music. Their single "God's Menu" became their most streamed track in the US, and "Maniac" from the mini-album "Oddinary" (2022) was acclaimed for its innovative sound. Stray Kids actively participate in global tours and performances, including their appearance at the 2024 Met Gala, where they became the first K-pop group to attend the event in full. The group has received numerous awards, including "Best K-Pop" at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards and the "Prime Minister's Commendation" at the 2023 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards. Their fan club, "Stay," reflects the strong bond between the group and their fans. Stray Kids continue to solidify their position as one of the leading K-pop groups, combining musical expertise, innovation, and global influence.
