The Crow

A 2024 American superhero film directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Zach Baylin and William Schneider, serving as a reboot of the 1994 cult film and the second adaptation of James O'Barr's comic book. The story follows musician Eric Draven (Bill Skarsgård), who, along with his fiancée Shelly Webster (FKA Twigs), falls victim to a brutal attack. After their murder, Eric is resurrected by a mystical Crow, granting him the chance to avenge their deaths. However, his journey is fraught with new threats and moral dilemmas. The main antagonists, Vincent Rogue (Danny Huston) and Kronos (Sami Bouajila), play pivotal roles in the tragic events leading to Eric's resurrection. The film also features performances by Laura Birn, Josette Simon, and Jordan Bolger. The production faced multiple challenges, including director and cast changes, before finalizing in 2022.
