The Fugitive

The 1993 American action thriller directed by Andrew Davis, with a screenplay by Jeb Stuart and David Twohy, is based on the 1960s television series of the same name created by Roy Huggins. The film follows Dr. Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford), a prominent Chicago vascular surgeon who is wrongfully convicted of murdering his wife, Helen (Sela Ward). After escaping from custody following a prison bus crash, Kimble embarks on a quest to find the real killer—a mysterious one-armed man named Fredrick Sykes (Andreas Katsulas). Simultaneously, he is pursued by a team of U.S. Marshals led by Deputy Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones), who gradually begins to question Kimble's guilt.
