The Iron Giant

A 1999 animated science-fiction film directed by Brad Bird, based on Ted Hughes’ book The Iron Man. Set in the United States during the Cold War in 1957, the story follows a young boy, Hogarth Hughes (Eli Marienthal / Andrey Barkhudarov), who discovers and befriends a massive metal robot that has fallen from the sky.
