Bells of Innocence

The 2003 American horror film directed by Alin Bijan follows Jux Jonas (Mike Norris), a man who has lost his faith after the death of his daughter. Along with his friends, Conrad Champlain (David A.R. White) and Oren Ames (Carey Scott), he travels to Mexico to distribute Bibles. However, their plane crashes, and they find themselves in the isolated town of Ceres. The townspeople behave strangely, avoiding interaction with strangers. The only friendly individual is a farmer named Matthew (Chuck Norris), who offers them assistance and communication tools. Gradually, the friends discover that the town is controlled by Joshua Ravel (Marshall R. Teague), a servant of Satan who uses children to prepare for an apocalyptic battle. Matthew, sent by God, helps Jux and his friends regain their faith and confront the evil. The film explores themes of faith, redemption, and the struggle against inner demons, blending elements of mysticism and religious motifs.​
