Bruce Almighty​

A 2003 American fantasy comedy film directed by Tom Shadyac. The story follows Bruce Nolan (Jim Carrey), a television reporter in Buffalo who is discontented with his life and blames God for his misfortunes. In response, God (Morgan Freeman) endows Bruce with divine powers for a week to teach him how challenging it is to run the world. Bruce initially uses his newfound abilities for personal gain but soon realizes that interfering with people's lives leads to unforeseen consequences. His relationship with his girlfriend Grace (Jennifer Aniston) suffers due to his selfishness. Ultimately, Bruce learns the importance of altruism and responsibility, returns his powers to God, and seeks to improve his life. The film explores themes of faith, responsibility, and human nature. The cast also includes Philip Baker Hall, Catherine Bell, and Steve Carell.​
