Evan Almighty​

A 2007 American fantasy comedy film directed by Tom Shadyac, serving as a spin-off and sequel to the 2003 film "Bruce Almighty." The story follows former news anchor Evan Baxter (Steve Carell), who becomes a congressman and moves with his family to a suburb of Washington, D.C. His life takes an unexpected turn when God (Morgan Freeman) appears and commands him to build an ark in anticipation of a great flood. Initially resistant, Evan begins to follow the instructions: growing a beard, wearing ancient robes, and gathering animals in pairs.
