Mortal Thoughts​

The 1991 American neo-noir psychological thriller directed by Alan Rudolph begins with Bayonne, New Jersey, hairdresser Cynthia Kellogg (Demi Moore) being interrogated by Detectives John Woods (Harvey Keitel) and Linda Nealon (Billie Neal) regarding the murder of her husband, Artie (John Pankow). Cynthia provides a detailed account of the events leading up to the crime. She and her best friend, Joyce Urbanski (Glenne Headly), co-own a beauty salon. Joyce is married to James "Jimmy" Urbanski (Bruce Willis), a violent and drug-addicted man who regularly abuses her.
