The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption

A 2012 American fantasy action film directed by Roel Reiné, continuing the Scorpion King series. After his wife dies of the plague, former king Mathayus (Victor Webster) loses his kingdom and becomes a mercenary. Egyptian king Horus (Ron Perlman) hires him to protect his ally, King Ramusan (Temuera Morrison), from his ambitious brother Talus (Billy Zane), who seeks to obtain the ancient Book of the Dead. Mathayus teams up with a Teutonic warrior, Olaf (Bostin Christopher), and they travel to the Far East. Meanwhile, Talus kidnaps Ramusan’s daughter, Princess Silda (Krystal Vee), to use her as leverage to acquire the Book and resurrect an army of undead warriors. In a climactic battle, Mathayus and Olaf fight against the reanimated soldiers and Talus’s forces, striving to rescue Silda and prevent the conquest. The film blends adventure, fantasy, and martial arts while continuing the tale of the legendary Scorpion King.
