The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power

A 2015 American fantasy action film directed by Mike Elliott, continuing the Scorpion King series. The story follows Mathayus (Victor Webster), a former Akkadian warrior, who becomes entangled in a conspiracy against the royal family. After being betrayed by his partner Drazen (Will Kemp) during a mission to deliver the Urn of Kings to King Zakkour (Rutger Hauer), Mathayus arrives in the kingdom of Norvania. There, he witnesses the murder of King Yannick (Michael Biehn) and is falsely accused of the crime. Drazen seeks to obtain Lord Alcaman’s Key, which unlocks the path to an ancient Crown that grants unlimited power. To stop him, Mathayus allies with Valina Reskov (Ellen Hollman), Yannick’s daughter and rightful heir, along with her eccentric scientist father Sorrell (Barry Bostwick). They embark on a perilous journey filled with challenges, including encounters with a pygmy tribe and a battle against a mechanical dragon guarding the entrance to Alcaman’s hidden sanctuary. In the final confrontation, Drazen wears the Crown but, being unworthy, perishes, while Mathayus uses its power to resurrect Sorrell. Valina ascends as queen, vowing to rule with wisdom and justice, while Mathayus remains her loyal protector.
