Wrath of the Titans

A 2012 American fantasy action film directed by Jonathan Liebesman, with a screenplay by Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson, serves as a sequel to the 2010 film "Clash of the Titans" and is based on Greek mythology. Set a decade after the previous events, demigod Perseus (Sam Worthington), son of Zeus (Liam Neeson), leads a quiet life as a fisherman while raising his son Helius (John Bell). The world faces a new threat as the gods lose control over the imprisoned Titans due to the diminishing human belief, weakening their powers. Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Ares (Édgar Ramírez) betray Zeus by forming an alliance with the ancient Titan Kronos to release him from Tartarus. Zeus is captured, and his divine power is siphoned to strengthen Kronos. Realizing his duty, Perseus teams up with Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), demigod Agenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy) to rescue Zeus, defeat Kronos, and save the world. The film features epic battles, including confrontations with mythological creatures like Cyclopes, a Minotaur, and a Chimera, culminating in a climactic battle where Perseus wields the Trident of Triumph, combining the powers of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon (Danny Huston).
