Luna

Ukrainian singer, songwriter, model, and photographer, born on August 28, 1990, in Chemnitz, East Germany, in a military family. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Kyiv, where Kristina began her musical education, learning vocals and guitar. In 2015, she launched her musical project under the pseudonym Luna, starting to publish songs online. Her debut album "Mag-ni-ty" was released in 2016 and immediately attracted attention due to its blend of synthpop, dream pop, and nostalgic 90s motifs. That same year, she released the mini-album "Grustny dens," which reached number one on Ukraine's iTunes chart. In the following years, Luna released the albums "Ostrov svobody" (2017), "Zakoldovannye sny" (2018), "Trans" (2019), "Illusion" (2023), and "Mechty" (2024), each solidifying her status in the music industry. Her work is noted for its melancholic atmosphere and references to 90s pop culture, as well as an active visual component where she serves as director and stylist. Luna actively performs on international stages, including tours across Europe and Israel. In 2020, she received the YUNA award in the "Other Format" category. Beyond her musical career, Luna is known for her support of the LGBTQ+ community and participation in social projects.
