An American pop rock band formed in 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada, by vocalist Dan Reynolds and drummer Andrew Tolman. They were later joined by guitarist Wayne Sermon and bassist Ben McKee, completing the lineup. The band gained widespread recognition with the release of the single "It's Time" and their debut album "Night Visions" in 2012, which included hits like "Radioactive" and "Demons." "Radioactive" became one of the best-selling digital singles in U.S. history. In subsequent years, Imagine Dragons released albums such as "Smoke + Mirrors" (2015), "Evolve" (2017), "Origins" (2018), "Mercury – Acts 1 & 2" (2021–2022), and "Loom" (2024). Their musical style blends pop rock, alternative rock, indie pop, and arena rock, allowing them to reach a broad audience. The band has sold over 74 million albums and 103.5 million digital singles in the U.S., earning numerous awards, including a Grammy for "Radioactive." In 2024, drummer Daniel Platzman departed, making "Loom" their first album recorded as a trio. The band is also known for their philanthropic efforts, supporting causes like the Tyler Robinson Foundation.
