Gorod 312

Kyrgyz pop-rock band formed in 2001 in Bishkek by Svetlana Nazarenko (Aya), Dmitriy Pritula (Dim), and Leonid Pritula (Leon). The band's name refers to the telephone code of Kyrgyzstan's capital — 312. Initially named "Mangra," the group changed its name to "Gorod 312" after moving to Moscow. In 2005, they released their debut album "213 Dorog," which attracted attention from listeners and critics. The band gained widespread recognition in 2006 with the release of the song "Ostanus'," which became the soundtrack for the film "Day Watch." That same year, they released the album "Vne Zony Dostupa," featuring hits like "Fonari" and "Vne Zony Dostupa." In 2007, the band released the album "Obernis'," followed by "Novaya Muzyka" in 2010. Over the years, Gorod 312 received numerous awards, including two Golden Gramophone Awards. The band actively toured Russia and abroad, performing in the USA, Belgium, Poland, Germany, France, and the Netherlands. In 2023, the group announced a pause in concert activities but continued working on new material.
