The Book of Eli

A 2009 American post-apocalyptic action film directed by the Hughes brothers, set in a future where a nuclear catastrophe has turned America into a scorched wasteland. The protagonist, Eli (Denzel Washington), wanders through the desolate lands carrying the last remaining Bible, believing it holds the key to humanity's salvation.
